BPD Investigate Sunday Shooting

Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives continue to investigate an early Sunday morning shooting in the city.

Ferry-Fillmore officers were called to Walden Avenue and Stewart Avenue at around 2am Sunday , July 25th.

Detectives say 45 year old John Richard of Cheektowaga was shot while standing on the sidewalk.

It appears several shots may've been fired from a car.

The victim was taken to ECMC where he's listed in critical condition.
