Body Discovered at Walden and May

A black female was found, deceased in a grassy field this morning at Walden Avenue and May St. The discovery was made at approximately 9:15AM.

The body was discovered by a State Police cadaver dog, and his handler, who were assisting the Buffalo Police Homicide Squad and C District officers in the search.

The identity of the individual found has not been confirmed. An autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death, at the Erie County Medical Center.
