BPD Investigate Three Shootings

Buffalo Police are investigating three shootings Tuesday night, one of them fatal.

The first one occurred at around 8:25pm Tuesday night in the 200 block of Wohlers Avenue. Buffalo Homicide Detectives say some type of confrontation occurred inside a home on Wohlers and then spilled outside, where the 21 year old male victim was shot in the chest area. He was taken to ECMC where he later died. At this time, his name is not being released, pending notification of family.

The second shooting happened at about 8:35pm in the 1st block of Dignity Lane. It appears a male victim was walking in the area when he was shot. The 15 year old male victim was shot in the stomach. He was taken to ECMC. He is listed in stable condition.

The third shooting occurred at 9:05pm in the 100 block of Dewey Avenue. It appears a male victim was walking down the street when he was shot in the shoulder area. He was treated and released from ECMC earlier this morning. The victim is 49 year old Anthony Fleming of Buffalo.

Buffalo Police are investigating if the shootings on Wohlers Avenue and Dignity Lane might be related. It does not appear that the shooting on Dewey is connected at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Confidential TIPCALL Line at 847-2255.
