Death of 72 year old man Ruled a Homicide

Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives are investigating the city's 5th homicide of 2010.

Police were called to a home in the first block of Cornwall Avenue just after midnight, Friday, Jan.29th.

Detectives say relatives discovered the victim's body in his home.

The victim, a 72 year old male, was dead at the scene.

"The death has been ruled a homicide after an autopsy that was conducted this morning", said Chief of Detectives Dennis J. Richards.

Richards added, "Police are attempting to locate anyone who had contact with the victim in the last few days".
