BPD Make Arrests in Recent Cases

Buffalo police have made arrests in two recent cases and have leads in two other cases.

Homicide Detectives arrested 19 year old Michael Corchado-Jamieson of Buffalo in connection with the Christmas morning shooting of 17 year old Elexe Mercado in the 800 block of Columbus Parkway.

Then late last night Buffalo police arrested two suspects in connection with a West Side deli robbery.

Police arrested 25 year old Armando Torres and 23 year old Tyrone Bradley , both of Buffalo, in connection with Wednesday night’s robbery in the 200 block of West Ferry near Herkimer.

Police are seeking a third suspect in this case.

In this case, officers from B, D, the Mobile Response Team and the Violent Crime Impact Team all combined their efforts in making the two arrests.

Police say they also have leads in Wednesday afternoon’s apparent drive-by shooting in the 3200 block of Bailey Avenue that left two injured.

Detectives believe the victim’s may’ve known their attackers.

And police also are working on leads tied to this morning’s shooting at a deli in the 1200 block of Clinton Street.

South District officers say a suspect entered the store, wearing some type of mask, and shot a store employee in the leg.

Police believe a second suspect may also be involved.
