A Tip Leads BPD to Two of America's Most Wanted

Acting on a tip, Buffalo Police arrested two fugitives in connection with the death of their 3 year daughter that took place in February of 2008 in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Arrested on outstanding warrants from Scranton were 26 year old Darak Antonio Williams and 25 year old Kashema Reddish. The two were booked on outstanding warrants for murder in the first and third degrees.

Police believe the two were in the Buffalo area over the weekend. Authorities say that individuals recognized Williams and Reddish after they were seen on the TV show, America's Most Wanted Saturday night and they then contacted police.

Buffalo Police took the two suspects into custody after locating the two in an apartment in the 300 block of Baynes Street at approximately 10pm Sunday night.

Scranton Police believe the two have been on the run since the incident took place back on February 21st, 2008. Scranton authorities believe that is the date the fatal injuries were inflicted upon the 3 year old girl.

The two attempted to bring the little girl to Community Medical Center in Scranton but she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Medical Examiners in Scranton ruled the death a homicide concluding that the cause of death was "multiple traumatic injuries."

Williams and Reddish remain in the Erie County Holding Center awaiting arraignment Tuesday morning in Erie County Court.
