BPD Seek Person of Interest in West Side Shooting

Buffalo police are looking for a Person of Interest in connection with last Friday afternoon's shooting on the City's West Side.

Police were called to Auburn Avenue and DeWitt St., just after 4pm, Friday, July 31st.

Homicide Detectives believe 23 year old Edwin A. LaSalle was shot in the upper part of his body after he had just exited a car.

LaSalle remains in critical condition at ECMC.

Detectives now want to question 35 year old Hector Gonzalez, aka "Indio", of Auburn Avenue. Gonzalez is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to immediately call 9-1-1.
