BPD Arrest Suspect in Corner Store Robbery

Buffalo police have arrested a suspect in connection with an apparent armed robbery of a corner store back on May 12th of this year.

"B" District Detectives have arrested 22 year old Sean Miller(pictured at right) of Buffalo and charged him with robbery in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon.

Detectives believe Miller and another individual entered the store, just after 9:30am on May 12th. The store is located in the 200 block of Massachusetts at Normal Avenue.

Police believe the suspects, after entering the store, walked behind the counter and tied up the cashier. The suspects then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

After police released Miller's photo to the media on June 3rd as a "person of interest" in this case, they received numerous tips of his whereabouts.

On Saturday morning, June 6th at around 10am, Miller decided to turn himself into Detective Kevin Biggs who has been working the case.

Police are also looking to question another individual in this case. He's described as a Hispanic Male, in his 20's, and goes by he nickname "Lupe". Police believe he frequents the Connecticut Street area and may be driving a gold van.
