Attempt to Locate Persons of Interest

Buffalo police homicide investigators are attempting to locate two individuals, for questioning in the death investigation of Kowat Rual. The fifteen year old was found at the edge of a canoe launch near Ohio St. and South St., in the city's First Ward. The discovery of the body was reported at about 11:45AM on June 9th.

The death has been ruled a homicide.

Police are looking to question 21 year old Julian L. Christopher, described as 5'11" and 185 pounds, along with 20 year old Charles L. Williams who is 6'1" and 160 pounds.

"Homicide Squad detectives have been attempting to locate these two persons of interest. There has been substantial progress in the investigation, since we have asked the public to come forward with information as to the whereabouts of Kowat Rual prior to the discovery of his body in the Buffalo River," said Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives. "Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call 911 immediately," Richards said.
