Police Search for Suspects in Barber Shop Robberies

Buffalo Police are investigating four separate barber shop robberies, including three that occurred on Tuesday, September 2nd. Police believe the same suspects may be involved in all of the robberies. The first one  happened shortly after at 11am at the barber shop at 3177 Bailey Avenue.

The second incident occurred at a barber shop at 1997 Fillmore Avenue at around 6:15pm.

The third robbery happened about 15 minutes later, around 6:30pm, at the barber shop located at 1016 Kensington Avenue.

A fourth barber shop robbery happened Wednesday afternoon at around 4:30pm in the 500 block of Broadway. After entering the store, the two suspects forced the employees and customers to the floor.

All four cases involved armed robberies where the two suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The two suspects are described as black males: one with a thin build, about 5'8-5'10, light skin, wearing gray shorts and a white tee-shirt, and either had freckles or pimples. The second suspect has a medium build, about 5'6-5'9, wearing a red tee-shirt and jeans.

Police are asking barber shop owners and employees to be aware and alert. If you see anything suspicious, you're asked to call 911 immediately.
