Buffalo Police Homicide Detectives are investigating two separate shootings that occurred about two hours apart late Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.

In the first incident, an 18 year old male was apparently shot while near the intersection of Wyoming Avenue and East Delavan Avenue. The incident happened just before 11pm Monday night. Detectives say witnesses heard gun shots and then went outside to find the victim lying on the ground. He was taken to the Erie County Medical Center where he's listed in critical condition. Police identified the victim as Darius I. Cannon of Buffalo.
