BPD Arrest West Side Shooting Suspect

Buffalo Police moved quickly to arrest a suspect after shots were fired at a home and a car early Tuesday evening on the city's west side. 20 year old Patrick Tetor of Bryant St. was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and failing to stop at a stop sign.

Buffalo Police say the events began unfolding right around 6 o'clock Tuesday evening. One victim claims numerous shots struck her vehicle and then right after that, another victim say's a number of shots hit her house on Hampshire Avenue. It appears neither victim was injured but both the car and house were damaged.

As the suspect took off, he apparently ran a stop sign at Hampshire and Niagara, where he struck another vehicle. That's when Buffalo Police caught up with the suspect and arrested him. Officers William Rieman and Mark Locicero of B District made the arrest.

The case is still under investigation.
