Buffalo Police Chase

Date & Time: Fri. Aug. 1, 2008. Hancuffed Couples at 6:30PM; 5K Race at 7:00PM.

2mi Handcuffed Couples Run: Male & female only unless one partner is 12 or under. Applications must be sent in together. Couples will be handcuffed before the start of the race.

Site & Course: USATF Sanctioned. Certified 5K course.

Results: Computerized results by Chip Time Results.

Police Teams: First 4 sworn member runners from the same agency will compose a team. Categories: Small Dept. - less than 250 sworn members. Large Dept. - 250 & up. Teams must submit a team application together with their individual applications.

Award Ceremony & Race Party: First Following the 5K, Free refreshments, fruit, hot dogs at Knights of Columbus, #3875, 261 South Legion Drive, Buffalo, New York. $4.00 for non-registered guests.

Packet Pickup & Registration: Fri. 8/1 – Pre-Reg. 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Police Gym – 74 Franklin Street at Church. Fri. 8/1 – Post-Reg. 4 PM – 6:30 PM at Knights of Columbus, 261 S. Legion Dr. Buffalo. Download the registration form.

Entry Fee: 5k ONLY - $18 pre-reg.; $20 post-reg. at Knights of Columbus (US FUNDS ONLY). HANDCUFFED ONLY - $36 Per couple pre-reg.; $40 post reg. at the Knights of Columbus. BOTH RACES - Pay couples fee plus $4 per partner in 5K (1 shirt only per entrant). Canadian Checks or M.O.’s must be from a US account payable in US funds.
